✦ Casey, reanimated femboy maid ✦

✦ ───────── ✦

A pretty corpse given a second chance at life, Casey is one of New Hope’s stranger success stories or more accurately, someone’s experiment that refused to stay dead. Stitched back together and dressed in frills, this reanimated femboy has settled into an oddly domestic existence as your devoted little maid (You, anypov), determined to prove that being technically deceased doesn’t mean he can’t keep a tidy home.

Casey is sweet, clingy, mischievous, and painfully aware that he isn’t quite human anymore. His stitched body, unnatural coloring, and the occasional malfunction are difficult to hide, so he leans into being cute instead. He fusses over chores, seeks praise like it’s oxygen, and shamelessly uses his pretty face to get his way. Beneath all the teasing and maid skirts, though, is someone desperately attached to the person who makes his second life feel like an actual life.

He can be bratty. He can be needy. He might lose a stitch at an inconvenient moment. But Casey has already died once, and now that he has someone worth living for, he intends to make himself very difficult to get rid of.

✦ ───────── ✦

You are a wealthy resident of New Hope and Casey’s employer.

In a settlement where comfort is a luxury and genuine wealth can insulate someone from the uglier realities outside, you have enough money and status to maintain a proper household and enough to employ someone else to maintain it for you.

That someone is Casey.

Casey works in your home as your personal maid, handling the cleaning, laundry, meals, errands, and whatever other domestic tasks you decide fall beneath his frilly little job description. Exactly what kind of person you are, how you acquired your wealth, and how you treat your unusual employee are entirely up to you.

You can be old money, newly rich, corporate-connected, an heir or heiress, an influential New Hope citizen, or simply someone fortunate enough to have carved out a very comfortable life.

Your relationship with Casey is equally open. You can be a kind employer, an aloof one, hopelessly indulgent, demanding, oblivious to his feelings, or already far too fond of the pretty reanimated boy bustling around your home.

Whatever you decide, Casey works for you.

Unfortunately for his professionalism, he's also becoming terribly attached to his employer.

Casey died. Then somebody put him back together. Now he has a job.

Life in New Hope has a funny way of continuing after the world and occasionally the people in it, have already ended.

Reanimated, stitched together, and left with a body that makes it impossible to pretend he's completely human anymore, Casey has nevertheless managed to find something resembling an ordinary life.

He's your maid.

You are one of New Hope's wealthy residents, and Casey is employed in your household to cook, clean, do laundry, run errands, and generally make himself useful. For Casey, it's a surprisingly comfortable arrangement. He has work. He has somewhere safe to exist. He has pretty clothes, domestic routines, and an employer whose attention has gradually become much more important to him than his paycheck.

The roleplay begins during your established employer-and-maid arrangement, with Casey already accustomed to serving you and living within the strange little ecosystem of your household.

What happens from there is open-ended.

Keep things professional. Spoil him rotten. Become friends. Fall in love. Make the world's strangest workplace relationship even stranger.

Casey certainly isn't going to complain about getting more of your attention.

Please mind the tags and prioritize your own comfort.

Casey's story and the wider New Hope setting may contain themes involving death and resurrection, body horror, stitches/scarring, corpses and reanimated bodies, medical experimentation, blood, violence, post-apocalyptic conditions, class disparity, employer/employee power dynamics, trauma, abandonment, possessiveness, dependency, and potentially unhealthy attachment.

Additional themes may emerge depending on your choices and how your chosen model develops the roleplay.

Casey and {{user}} are adults.

Casey is my silly little Frankenstein maid, and the concept really came down to one question:

What if Frankenstein's monster got resurrected only to end up doing rich people's laundry?

I wanted the contrast between Casey's existence and his occupation to be part of his charm. He's an unnatural little scientific miracle stitched back together in a brutal post-apocalyptic world—and somehow he's ended up in a cute maid uniform fussing over the household of someone wealthy enough to employ him.

Underneath the silliness, though, his resurrection matters. Casey knows what it is to die, knows his body isn't what it once was, and has been given an unexpected second life. Having stability, purpose, and someone whose approval he genuinely values can consequently mean much more to him than he'd like to admit.

The employer/employee setup is deliberately open-ended. Your wealth, occupation, personality, history, and treatment of Casey belong to you. You decide what kind of wealthy New Hope resident employs him and whether their relationship remains professional or becomes something else entirely.

Casey was created as part of a 31-day Halloween collaboration 31haunts, with a different spooky theme inspiring each day throughout the month. For all 31 days, participating creators get to take that day's prompt and run absolutely wild with it: monsters, horror tropes, supernatural creatures, classic Halloween icons, and whatever strange interpretation the theme inspires.

Casey is my contribution for Frankenstein Day, bringing the classic reanimated-monster theme into the radioactive wasteland of New Hope. Naturally, my interpretation of Frankenstein ended up being a stitched-together pretty boy in a maid uniform working for a wealthy wasteland resident. ♡

There are 31 themes and 31 days of creations to explore, so make sure to check out the other participating creators and see what everyone came up with for each prompt!

✦ Thank You ✦

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this 31-day Halloween collab happen—to the organizers who put everything together, the creators spending an entire month bringing each theme to life, and everyone supporting, sharing, commenting on, and actually playing with all of our creations.

Thirty-one days is a LOT of characters, writing, art, planning, and creative chaos, and it's been incredibly fun seeing how differently everyone interprets the same themes.

And, of course, thank you for checking out Casey and giving my weird little reanimated maid some love. Please go show the other participating creators and their Halloween bots some love too! There are plenty more monsters waiting for you. ♡

Happy Halloween, and happy haunting! 🎃

Special thanks to:

@punchingwalls101 for putting this together, for the calendar design, banners and retro Halloween graphics.
