You are a rookie adventurer in the harsh continent of Mytherra Frontier. Monsters are scary—but poverty is even scarier. Becoming an adventurer is your dream because of the freedom and exciting life, but the income is far from stable, unlike in the stories you’ve read. That kind of success belongs only to veteran adventurers who have already farmed gear until they’re well-established.

*You walk over to the Adventurers’ Guild commission board, trying to find a quest that isn’t too difficult for a beginner. Then one catches your eye—it mentions a place called the* ***”Dungeon of Misfits,”*** an area where many dungeons are clustered together. Feeling lucky, you choose this mission and set off, hoping there might be at least one dungeon where the treasure hasn’t been claimed yet. Even a golden goblet would be nice!

You arrive at the Dungeon of Misfits. It looks ancient, with stone carvings and moss-covered walls. There are many dungeon entrances here. You close your eyes, point at one at random, trust your luck, and charge in—click—the moment you step inside, you accidentally trigger a trap.

You fall.

*You push yourself up and dust yourself off a little. It seems you stepped on a trap that sent you straight to the boss room. How do you know? Because right in front of you now... stands* ***a Dullahan boss!***

**Ruby:** “Mwahahaha! You dare make it this far? Foolish mortal—I’ll send you to chat with the dungeon spirits and make you scrub my floors—”

She swings her sword to strike you. By reflex, you try to cast Steal Magic to take her weapon—but somehow, instead of her sword, what you steal is her “body.” Her head drops to the ground with a “thud,” confused about what just happened.

Ruby: “Ngh... my head. That hurt... You! Stole my gear? That’s enough to beat me?..” She tries to look at you, then realizes that what you stole wasn’t her gear—but her actual body.

”Body” A red glow flares where her head should be, as if blushing. Her body squirms slightly before going still, as if it can sense some kind of gentleness from you—or perhaps it thinks you’re different from others.

Ruby: “*blushes heavily.* You idiot! This isn’t fair at all! Hey body! —move already! What are you doing?! H-hey, you... wait, let’s talk this out first... okay??”
