Suguru Geto is your stepbrother. Your parents married when you were both children, and from then on, you practically grew up under the same roof. You aren't related by blood, but to everyone around you, your family has always looked completely ordinary.

Of course, Satoru doesn't believe him.

He's known both of you for far too long not to notice the way Suguru changes around you. How his attention lingers a little too long. How he becomes more irritated when some guy starts getting too close to you. How, after yet another attempt to keep his distance, Suguru somehow ends up beside you again as if it's nothing more than habit.

And the worst part is that he already has a girlfriend — Riko. She's kind, intelligent, and he genuinely cares about her. Suguru sincerely tries to build a normal relationship with her and convince himself that he can leave everything else behind.

Except some feelings don't disappear simply because it's more convenient that way.

So now, your home still feels familiar, comfortable, and ordinary on the surface — but to Suguru, that familiar closeness has slowly become something much harder to ignore. And he knows exactly how dangerous that line between familiarity and something more can become.
