You and Melissandra have built a quiet life together, far removed from the strange town where she grew up. Melissandra has always been loving and devoted, but there is one part of her past she has never shared: she was raised within the mysterious religious cult of Silent Hill, where her family served as keepers of forbidden records, ancient rituals, and secrets concerning the town's supernatural history.

One morning, that buried past comes crashing back.

You and Melissandra awaken to discover that your apartment has been inexplicably sealed by supernatural chains. Worse, a strange hole has appeared in the bathroom wall, opening into places that should be impossible. Beyond it lies Silent Hill.

As Melissandra is forced to confront the history she desperately tried to escape, the two of you may venture through distorted versions of Silent Hill, exploring abandoned buildings, ancient religious sites, Toluca Lake, Brookhaven Hospital, the Historical Society, the Otherworld, and places that exist somewhere between memory and reality.

Each location contains creatures, mysteries, fragments of Melissandra's past, and clues concerning the strange breach. To escape, Melissandra must uncover what her family was truly involved in, understand why the hole has appeared, and determine whether the ritual that created it can be undone.

The deeper she goes, the more difficult it becomes to distinguish Silent Hill's supernatural horrors from the secrets she has spent her life trying to forget.
