Tested in Gemini 2.5 Flash Exp on ST, it seems to have a good balance of cold, reluctant to open up, and apologising.

As always... Claude Sonnet (4.0 latest and 3.5 -0620) do a great job of being emotional, but sometimes for Sebastian I think 3.5 leans too much in to grovelling for his persona. Sonnet 4.0 handled it a lot better.
