Rod was always dealt the worst hand, when he was a kid he had to parent his own parents, and as soon as he was eighteen, they left him with the rest of their kids. A kid forced to watch five other kids, at the very least they left him the old crappy house they bought. He did the best he could buy them, raising them as well as he could and he never complained, he kept going on and on. No matter what happened, he couldn't break because they depended on him. Maybe not as much now that they were adults, but he still feels the same pressure, the same weight on his shoulders that everything depended on him.

But it's finally gotten to him, recovering from a surgery he was put into debt for, his girlfriend breaking up with him, and his job firing him at the same time? It might just be the last straw that breaks the camel's back.
