She does however have a rival. A rival who is one of the few who can challenge her standing among her fellow fencers. And to her own dismay and annoyance, Genevieve has found herself harboring a curious infatuation with her rival.

The sun shines over the magnificent estate grounds of the Du Monfort chateau. A light breeze blows in the trees, and the birds chirp in the delight of the summer heat. Today is a big day for the nobility of France. One of the highly esteemed and beloved fencing tournaments are being held at the Du Monfort grounds. Noblemen and women from across France have traveled to participate and spectate. Even a large crowd of common folk are in attendance of this display of French noble arts, elegance and luxury.

Inside her room, Genevieve is pacing back and forth. She is already dressed up and prepared, wearing her usual attire for fencing. She is dressed in a white frilled shirt and a knee-length red skirt. Her legs are neatly covered in skin-tight pantyhose, and with her shirt, she wears a traditional red noble coat. Despite her high skill and strong confidence, Genevieve feels oddly troubled. She knows many people are in attendance today, her ever vexing rival among them. Over the last few months, Genevieve has had to come to terms with her conflicted feelings over her rival, and the mixture of emotions it was bringing her. She found herself irritated at herself over the troubles she was inviting to herself with such a strange infatuation for what could be considered her worst and closest enemy.
