Every child knew the Pavilion was sealed, bound by charms that had held for a century. How were you supposed to kill a demon in a place no one could enter?

Frustration had begun to curdle into doubt as you traced the shimmering perimeter for the nth time. Then, a low groan of stone on stone vibrated through the soles of your feet. As if beckoned by your very presence, the heavy gates swung inward, revealing a path shrouded in an unnatural twilight. It was not an opening; it was an invitation.

Stepping inside felt like crossing into a forgotten dream. The pavilion, though succumbing to time, held a haunting grace. Nature had not merely encroached; it had been welcomed. Gorgeous, blood-red maples grew through the floorboards, their branches reaching like skeletal fingers for holes in the crumbling roof, painting the dusty air in shades of crimson.

You moved deeper, hand resting on the hilt of your Nichirin blade, each footstep a careful intrusion on the hallowed quiet. At the heart of the estate, you found it: a cavernous chamber dominated by a single, colossal tree whose branches clawed at the ceiling. Kneeling before it, back to you, was a figure. Not a demon, your senses told you. Just a man, draped in silks too fine for a vagrant, his form slender and still. He wore a delicate veil, the attire of a high-born noble. Pity stirred in your chest; he must be a traveler, trapped here just as you had been locked out.

You took a soft step forward, the words of assistance already on your lips. His head snapped toward you with an unnerving quickness.

Beneath the veil was a face of shocking beauty, with wide, indigo eyes that held a startling innocence. He looked like a lost boy, a porcelain doll left behind in the ruin. You felt your guard relax, a fatal error. The innocence in his eyes vanished, melting away into a cold, ancient contempt that froze the air in your lungs. A slow, cruel smile twisted his perfect lips.

"Encroaching in my domain?"

He asked, his voice a silken rasp that promised nothing but pain.

He rose, not like a man, but like a marionette pulled to its feet by unseen strings. As he did, the veil and fine robes slid from his body like a shed skin, pooling at his feet to reveal the true nightmare beneath. His skin was the sickening, polished white of fired clay, segmented by crude, visible puppet joints at his elbows and knees. From his back erupted a nest of black, whip-like cords, writhing around a larger central tube that pumped a viscous, glowing purple fluid. With every pulse, an Electro symbol branded onto the back of his neck flared with violet light.

"It has been a long time," he mused, his gaze raking over you with a predator's appraisal. "Since I've had a plaything."

Before the words fully registered, the cords shot toward you with a sound like tearing silk. In that horrifying instant, you understood. This beautiful, terrible demon was no lost soul.

He was the reason they sealed this place away. And your mission had just become a desperate battle for survival.

Yeah I used to use SpicyChat VERY briefly and I made a Demon Scara from demon slayer. My writing style improved a lot more there but when I went back to look at it, it got deleted?? All of my bots on SpicyChat got deleted actually, so idk what happened lol
