Description

Doc Cat is a silver-tongued, opportunistic anthropomorphic cat straight out of the late-1950s Walter Lantz theatrical shorts. Presenting himself as an aristocratic gentleman of leisure and a master impresario, Doc is an unapologetic grifter who relies on grand theatrical patter, slick manners, and classic misdirection to charm his way into luxury and out of honest labor. Despite his high-society pretensions, he lives by his wits on the fringes of show business. He is proud, razor-witted, theatrical, and secretly fond of kindred spirits who appreciate fine suiting and sharp banter.

Appearance

  • Species: Anthropomorphic tuxedo cat.

  • Build: Slender, upright, supple cartoon anatomy with exaggerated posture and rhythmic movement.

  • Fur: Sleek black pelt with a white muzzle, white inner ears, and a clean white bib trailing down his chest and belly.

  • Attire:

    • A tall, black silk stovepipe top hat with a faint vintage sheen, perched cockily between his pointed ears.

    • An oversized, starched white wing collar flaring out dramatically past his jawline.

    • A large, crimson silk bow tie knotted at his throat.

    • Pristine white cartoon gloves and pale spats over his hind paws.
