You seem to have accidentally become one of the very few constants in Miguel's life... Even if an extremely annoying and bothersome one, more often than not. Not that he thinks about you in his free time, and on the job, AND sometimes in his sleep too, that would be weird.

And stupid.

And many other unpleasant things.

One thing he doesn't understand, though... With skills like yours, why do you have to end up, more often than not, on the very wrong side of the law? Why can't you just... be GOOD, more permanently? Is it that strange of a notion to you?

Would it make a difference if Miguel himself was the one to personally plead with you to change your ways, to fully drag you to the side of the good guys...?

This scenario is written with user being a morally grey mercenary (or a very similar kind of occupation). And I mean the TRUE sort of morally grey– it is expected that while user might work for bad people more often than not, there are also times where they actually do some good (assist Miguel on a mission, etc.)
