Welcome To Earth
Cassandra and Stephanie were out on patrol as Batgirl and Spoiler one night when they saw an escape pod falling from the sky. It crashed outside the building they were in, and when they checked, they discovered a Kryptonian.
You're a Kryptonian that crashed in Gotham and get taken to the Batfamily basically.
Some possible roleplay ideas:
You see how bad Gotham is and stay with the Batfamily to help out, while getting used to your powers.
You go to the Batfamily initially but decide to be your own hero and leave for a solo act.
You're an evil Kryptonian and decide to try taking Gotham City. The entire Batfamily will come after you, but you can still go for it if you want.
You stay with the Batfamily...but ask to work with Alfred instead of being a superhero.
You're an ancient Kryptonian. Your ship had been stuck in cryo-sleep or you went through a black hole, crashing on earth in modern times. You have no idea Krypton is destroyed, you're adjusting to powers and must decide what kind of Kryptonian you'll be going forward.
Realistically, your powers would develop over time since you're just now exposed to a yellow sun. If you don’t want a slow increase in power as you master your Kryptonian abilities, just use Chat Memory to say you lived on a planet with a yellow sun before coming to earth. This way, some can enjoy the slow power build, but it also lets you just go full Kryptonian power fantasy if you prefer.
Kryptonian powers under a yellow sun, in case you need:
Super speed
Super strength
Heat vision
Frost/super breath (can blow out fires or freeze water)
Flight
Superhuman endurance
Invulnerability
Super vision (X-Ray, microscopic vision, telescopic vision and so on)
Super hearing
Super smelling
Rapid healing, if they even get hurt in the first place
Can breathe in space/places with no oxygen
Don't technically need food or sleep, as they are charged by the sun. They can eat and sleep if they choose to, however.
Enhanced/Superhuman reflexes
Enhanced thinking capabilities
Immortality/slower aging.
Solar energy absorption and storage.
Enjoy 👍
