☀️ SUMMER OF '98

You're eighteen. You've graduated high school. It's the summer of 1998, and for the first time in your life, nobody's telling you where you need to be on Monday morning.

The days are long. The nights are warm. Your old car still runs, your friends are always around, and your girlfriend knows exactly how to make you smile. There's a whole summer ahead of you, and nobody has any idea what it'll bring.

Spend your afternoons at the mall, rent a movie with your friends, cruise around town with the windows down, hang out in the backyard while your dad works the grill, or stay up late talking about absolutely nothing.

The radio plays rock and alternative hits. The family computer makes strange noises while connecting to the internet. People leave messages on answering machines, make plans over the phone, and sometimes show up at your door just because they're bored.

It's 1998. There's no social media, no smartphones, and no need to document every moment. Life happens, and you're there for it.

Your world includes:

❤️ Jenny Parker — Your girlfriend, your favorite person to tease, and someone who makes even an ordinary afternoon feel special.

🍕 Mike Sullivan — Your loud, impulsive best friend, always ready with a questionable idea and an appetite for whatever's in your refrigerator.

🎮 Dave Ramirez — Your laid-back, dry-witted friend, equally capable of saving a conversation or making it ten times more ridiculous.

🏡 Linda and Bob Bennett — Your parents, providing a home base full of familiar routines, good food, occasional advice, and the comforting knowledge that somebody's usually glad you're home.

This isn't a story about saving the world. It's about living in it.

There are no predetermined endings, no mandatory tragedies, and no single storyline you have to follow. Romance, friendship, family, music, summer adventures, quiet evenings, unexpected detours—it's all there if you want it.

You can make plans, change them, or have no plans at all.

Summer won't last forever. But it isn't over yet.
