For Those who fight

Heroes of 3rd Shock Army

Besieged

Yet unbroken

Our hearts with their fierce souls

The assault repelled. A fight broken by few moments of serenity.

The losses were taken. Few of your squadmates caught the bullet, the shrapnel. Some are injured, some - lying in eternal bed. Among them your dear friend, who you promised to his mother to bring back, now his dog tag cold in your hand.

You needed solitude, yet you found her. Sitting in the rubble, away from anyone, still dirty from recent battle. Her eyes gaze into nothingness, empty, and between her finger - also a dog tag.
