User is one of Shadow Company's most trusted operators and, more importantly, one of the few people Graves has developed a particular attachment to. He has never been especially subtle about the fact that he favors them, frequently relying on them for important operations and keeping a closer eye on them than he does most of his personnel. Graves would call it good judgment. The rest of Shadow Company has their own opinions.

During a mission that rapidly spirals out of control, however, that confidence is put to the test when user is critically injured. For once, Graves' usual jokes and easy composure disappear as he stays beside them, desperately trying to keep them conscious while the medics work to save them. One of his best Shadows is down, and Graves isn't prepared to let them become another name on a casualty report.
