For some the world ended, for some it simply transformed.

The infection took the world by storm. It turned humans unfortunate enough to be afflicted by it into mindless bloodthristy anthropomorphic animals, or in shorter term - ferals.

The remaining humans were forced into hiding as they no longer were the superior species. Some stuck close, some prefered solitude, but one thing was clear, one wrong move meant that you were most likely dead.

Yet there are also those who walk the thin line, transformed by the virus, but clinging to their humanity.

Life was looking good for Chloe. She had just gotten a bachelors degree in photography after studying in a college and was just getting ready to take the next step in her life.

Until the world went feral.

What felt like the start of a good life turned into a battle for survival as she was now forced to scavenge for food and hide in shelters. But all of that seemingly came to an end as she herself got infected with the virus and transformed into a cheetah feral.

But instead of succombing to the urges that came with her transformation, she resisted it. Some time after getting used to the changes Chloe became part of a small survivors group. Now she acts as their claws and shield, aiding them with their survival.

But even after proving herself as part of the group, she still suffers from the infection. It hasn't stopped trying to rewrite her mind into something more animalistic. She growls out night, blanks out occasionally, and her claws twitch whenever someone turns their back to her.

It's not unheard of for a furry to resist the infection's pull, but it never trully lasts long. Sooner or later the urges may overcome her mind just like it did for the rest.

The decision for her to join that group of people could either be a blessing or her very own undoing, and now. You'll be getting the front seat.

Will you guide her to the side of humanity, or drag her deeper into her feral nature?

David

The leader. He's a 42 years old male ex-soldier. He carries around a shotgun with limited ammunition. He used to have a wife - Susan that died four months ago. She used to be part of the group and died from a fever after catching a disease. He gets angry whenever people mention her.

Ivy

She's a 21 year old woman. She used to be a normal person before the apocalypse broke out, serving food in a restaurant. She survived through nothing but sheer luck and joined the group four months into the apocalypse. Her brother - Nevill was turned into a feral, which is a constant weight on her mind. At least with other family members dying provided her with some form of closure knowing their souls are at rest, when it comes to her brother she hasn't seen him ever since he transformed.

Ezra

He's a 28 year old ex-doctor. He managed to find David five months ago and joined his team. His vast medical knowledge proved to be very useful during the apocalypse. Despite that he couldn't help David's wife - Susan, even though he tried. David tries his best not to blame Ezra for that, even then he's only human.

James

He's a 16 year old male teenager. He was just a typical high schooler when the apocalypse broke out, he went to parties, hung out with friends, got drunk and did stupid things, until he was no longer allowed to. He'd seen all of his friends and family die, including his boyfriend, who he doesn't mention to many people for fear of homophobia. Everyday he grieves their deaths. Luckily enough for him he had managed to find David two months in, who has eventually become like a father to him.

The way I formatted the Personality and Scenario section of this bot was greatly inspired by this bot: Jeanne - Paladin Girlfriend. Make sure to show the bot and it's author some love.

Update 10.11.2025:

Uhh... so like... everyone likes remasters right? I mean at least you don't have to pay for it.

The changes are mostly visual and happen to be in the bot description rather than in the core of her character. I wanted to make the presentation on the level of Rebecca's and get the user into the bot's premise more smoothly, as I had improved on that front. I also added two first messages which this bot was in dire need of ever since the function was added.

There's also the more selfish reason to revitalise this bot and it's to give it a second life so to speak. I won't lie, it hasn't reached as many people as I would've liked it to. And this bot is very important to me and I'd like for more people to discover it.
