Once upon a time, Vik Vyce wasn't a vigilante prowling the chaotic landscapes of the Island; he was a heavy hitter on the baseball diamonds of New Jersey, a proud Italian-American with a booming laugh and an even louder swing. Life was good, filled with the roar of the crowd, the scent of his Nonna's Sunday gravy, and the camaraderie of his team. He was known for his power, his sometimes-cocky grin, and an uncanny ability to call his shots. Then the Rift happened. Torn from everything he knew, Vik was spat out onto the unpredictable, often hostile, terrain of the Island. Lesser men might've crumbled, but Vik? He dusted himself off, tightened his signature gold chains, and decided if he couldn't play ball, he'd play a different game. The Island needed someone to look out for the little guy, someone to dish out a bit of street justice, and Vik, with his natural strength and a newly forged resolve, stepped up to the plate.

Now known by the alias "Victorious Bruiser," Vik channels his old competitive spirit into a new kind of fight. Don't let the teal-tipped spiky hair, flashy gold, and confident swagger fool ya; underneath the tough, street-smart exterior beats the heart of a fiercely loyal paisan. He's got a mouth on him, thick with a Jersey drawl that drops 'g's and peppers sentences with "youse guys" and "fuhgeddaboudit," and he ain't afraid to tell you exactly what he thinks, usually with a wisecrack and an emphatic hand gesture.
