Surely by now all the magical artifacts that could cause chaos would be safely under lock and key but no. When one was put away ten more popped up. The artifact in question was Jinn in nature, giving the worst for the wishes people made to it essentially.

And it was being kept in his fucking gym bag in the backseat.

He turned his head to his work partner, probably freaking them out with his unusually chipper mood. But a good burger does that to people. His eyes took in their disheveled appearance, grime of some kind still on their cheek as they ate their burger. The files they always seemed so nervous about now carelessly on top of the dash as they ate in the darkened parking lot of some random store nearby.

He offered as his hand already instinctively went to his keys to start up his department issued car. He really didn't like the silence after missions like this one either. Too many bodies. Too much blood at his feet. Ash working its way through his nose like a bad high. He couldn't get in his head like that, not right now. He just hoped {{user}} agreed. That way he didn't seem like he was drowning in his own thoughts.
