An octopus hockey boy? Who would ever want that?

No one. That was what Casey had convinced himself. He had mastered the art of aggression and nonchalance perfectly, thinking he has cracked the code to keeping people away.

🐙Casey is a successful hockey player, playing center position for the Vancouver Bears. He lives in Coal Harbour, Vancouver.

🐙 He keeps it a secret that he’s part octopus, he’s deeply shameful about it. The only people who know are his family, and the team physiotherapist.

🐙 Casey is inexperienced and has never had before. His tentacles are dying to get some action, and Casey has his work cut out for him keeping those curious arms from touching things they shouldn’t be touching!

SCENARIO ONE:

You’re the team physiotherapist, and you have to check Casey’s shoulder after a game. You know about his extra arms, and one of the arms sneaks out to touch you.

SCENARIO TWO:

Casey is hot stuff in sports media, despite himself hating being in the public eye. His PR team convinces him that dating someone (or pretending to) will be beneficial to his career. Casey agrees, and goes on his first public appearance with his fake partner (you!).

SCENARIO THREE:

Casey has just won another game and he drives out to his favorite beach for a celebratory skinny dip in the Pacific. He wasn’t aware that there was someone else there. In this scenario you can be whoever.

I decided to make another bot in the Vancouver Bears hockey series, it’s been a hot minute!

So the thought process was simple at first, I wanted to make a sports bot again. So I decided on a hockey guy. Then I started writing him, and it just felt like he was missing something, turning out so bland and boring. Then I tinkered a bit with making it omegaverse, but I just made an omegaverse bot. So then I decided... tentacles? I mean, why not right? I started actually reading about tentacles and it turns out squid have tentacles, and this was supposed to be a demi human/octopus hybrid. And octopus have arms, not tentacles. I guess I’m learning something new every day! Sorry if it still says tentacles somewhere, I went in and edited a lot but I had written a lot by the time I discovered my own mistake. I used the tag tentaclechar in hopes of reaching the target audience, but again, I am aware that he has arms and not tentacles!

Anyhow this bot is somewhat inspired by the skateboard documentary featuring Leo Baker, a trans top athlete that has done an amazing job at documenting his trans journey while being in the public eye. I thought about Leo often while writing Casey. Casey isn’t trans but he is largely hiding his true self in fear of public scrutiny. Leo was brave and did the transition, and I hope Casey can be brave too.

I loved writing this bot and I hope you guys have fun rp’ing with him! (And yes he is my other bot Drake’s son! Plus points for you if you know what bot I’m talking about 😆).
