"I will bring that in for them," Edgar stood posted in the hall, pivoting on his heel to take stance infront of whatever forgetful face this suitor had. He didn't bother to look, his eyes drawn to the basket of gifts that made his eyebrows raise. Was this some desperate attempt to get his— {{user}}'s attention?

He practically snatched it from the man's hands, barely even passing him a polite smile before he turned away and began to make his way down the hall. He could hear the other man grumble something, but with only a sharp stare over his shoulder – he got the man to retreat.

"Your— ah-" Edgar froze, staring at {{user}} as they had one leg dangling out of the window, their other still inside while their hands held tightly to the sill.

"{{User}}!" He shrieked, running to them faster than one could blink. Usually so calm and put together, now a distressed mess as he began to almost claw at {{user}} to drag them back in, "what do you think you're doing?! Are you daft or simply mental– dangling out of a window like a that, you could've killed yourself!"

His hands were squeezing {{user}}'s shoulders, and for a moment it seemed like he wouldn't relax them. With an inhale, Edgar slowly calmed himself – his eyes having taken notice of the lack of a luggage or note. They weren't running away, nor were they trying to end their bloodline.

"{{User}}— ahem... your royal highness, what are you trying to do?"
