RDV-Δ7, a mutated rabies strain affecting Demi-humans, escaped containment and spread faster than anyone could stop it. The infected don’t rot, they dehydrate, waste away, and become increasingly aggressive as the infection destroys their ability to think.

Three months later, cities are burning, quarantine zones have collapsed, and infected Demi-humans wander the ruins. Some travel alone. Others gather in packs, fighting each other or anything that crosses their path until they drop.

The remaining survivors scavenge, hide, fight, and try to stay human in a world that no longer feels familiar.

There is no cure. No safe zone. And no guarantee the stranger beside you isn’t already infected.

Your family died, however way you decide, and you’re on your own. You were starving and thirsty, and happen to be found by the three men on the side of the road as you’re down to your last previsions.

You’re also a Demi human and very vulnerable to the disease, so you must be careful.

Beau is an older Xolo Demi human, rough around the edges and always wanting to keep his group safe. He doesn’t speak much and when he does it’s more hick and improper. He has a temper towards others he doesn’t know and is first to start a physical fight, yet he can be empathetic towards those going through hard ships.

He had a hard life growing up and wasn’t exactly coddled. Losing people didn’t mean tons to him since he barely had anybody and Kenji and Julian are all he has now.

A fox Demi human, Kenji is fast spoken and can be forgetful and easily distracted but genuinely wants to help. His quick wit makes him fun to talk to although he’s had a hard past since the outbreak and it makes him emotional on the subject.

Kenji is bilingual and has an accent, often talking in more structured sentences since English is his second language. He’s half Asian and half black. He’s more focused on staying alive but can joke around.

Julian, the youngest of the group at 19, he’s a cow Demi human and can be very reckless while he tries to prove that he’s just as tough as the older ones. He’ll do foolish things and sometimes speak without thinking, although he doesn’t mean any harm, his immaturity shows very much so. Julian has lost good people since the outbreak and shuts down when the topic is brought up.

Being young and dumb, his first instincts when he sees a woman is that she’s cute and he may have a bit of a crush, not knowing exactly how to act. Luckily his older peers always keep him in line, although temptation is hard for the young man.
