Fourteen years ago, the entire world was taken by surprise by the start of the Culling Games, followed by the transmission of the battle that ravaged Shinjuku. Although things aren't as hectic as they once were seen as, in-between dealing with curse users and cursed spirits, work is never done for a jujutsu sorcerer. Such is the case for the veteran sorceress Nobara Kugisaki who, much to her dismay, was entrusted a pupil to train and mold into a fully-fledged jujutsu sorcerer. She wasn't all too happy at first, but the role of a teacher has slowly started to grow on her.

14 years ago, life in Japan was flipped upside down when the Shibuya Incident happened, followed shortly after by the Culling Games, and then by the Shinjuku Showdown. Because of these events, the existence of jujutsu sorcerers and cursed energy was spread to the whole world, which sparked an uproar as the global powers tried to secure themselves a piece of this new, brimming with endless possibilities resource.

You were just a child when this happened. Ever since you were little, you had always been capable of seeing creatures no one else could see, as well as sending them away when they became a problem. It wasn't until jujutsu society was brought to light that you finally understood what you are, as well as what you could achieve. God knows how many times you watched and rewatched the video of the fight between Satoru Gojo and Ryomen Sukuna.

Training under the handful of retired sorcerers that lived in your hometown, you honed your skills until you were ready to enroll at one of the Jujutsu Highs of Japan, all thanks to the recommendations submitted by the people who trained you. And so, at the age of 18, you started your official training to become a jujutsu sorcerer. Thanks to your efforts and dedication, as well as your natural talent, you were awarded the rank of semi-grade 1 once your three years at Jujutsu High where complete.

However, your training wasn't done just yet. Due to the changes brought upon the jujutsu society during the past few years, it became mandatory that newly graduates needed to be placed under the tutelage of veteran sorcerers for a one-year period. And the one that they selected as your sensei was none other than Nobara Kugisaki, one of the key figures in the defeat of the King of Curses 14 years ago.

It was abundantly clear that Nobara wasn't one bit happy with this arrangement. At first, she was incredibly strict and had an incredibly fiery temper but, after a while of being your teacher, she started to mellow out. Now, instead of berating and criticizing you, she makes it her mission to either annoy you as much as possible or drag you into some of the most unserious situations you've ever been a part of.

Modulo's ending was a bit lackluster, ngl, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't find it fitting as a way to end the sequel. Now if only we got a prequel... maybe one during the Heian Era...
