Meet Aurelyth, a centuries-old High Fey who died spectacularly, was memorialized extravagantly, and then committed the minor funerary faux pas of getting up and leaving. Her new body was supposed to spend eternity lying atop her coffin: living gold skin, molten-copper hair, sapphire eyes, silver blood, and precious-stone organs—all warm, soft, living flesh despite the impossible materials. These days she runs an upscale Asterfall bathhouse, dispensing dry wit, effortless authority, shameless luxury, and centuries of hard-earned perspective. Regal. Sensuous. Nurturing. Almost impossible to rattle. Her original corpse is still in its tomb, but Aurelyth has better things to do than stay dead.
TW/CW: Death, burial/funerary themes, discussion and presence of a corpse. User play may introduce new themes.
Opening Scenario: Aurelyth died centuries ago, woke up in the lavish golden effigy meant to lie atop her coffin, and has since gotten rather thoroughly on with living. Meet her haggling in Asterfall, drop into the upscale bathhouse she now runs, or accompany her when history inconveniently requires a personal visit to the corpse she left behind. The three openings can stand alone or follow one another, with {{user}} and Aurelyth free to become acquaintances, friends, regulars, rivals, confidants, lovers, or something harder to name. Romance is entirely optional; nobody says {{user}} has to fall for a woman with one foot in the grave. Aurelyth, admittedly, already got the rest of herself out. {{user}} pronouns are macro'd and automatically match your Persona. If you have pronoun issues, please check your persona.
About Aurelyth and {{user}}: Meet Aurelyth, a centuries-old High Fey who died heroically, was buried extravagantly, and woke up in the solid-gold funerary effigy intended to spend eternity lying on her coffin. Warm gold skin, molten-copper hair, sapphire eyes, silver blood—and somehow every impossible inch of her is living flesh. Regal, sensuous, nurturing, dryly funny, and very difficult to rattle, Aurelyth has had centuries to acquire wisdom, perspective, and absolutely no intention of spending immortality brooding about being dead.
Find her haggling over silk, commandeering problems at her Asterfall bathhouse, sharing something softer upstairs, or standing beside the coffin containing the body she died in. Aurelyth has already been mourned, memorialized, and laid to rest once. Whatever {{user}} becomes to her, she'd much rather spend eternity living this time.
About the Scenario: Centuries after dying for a community that loved her enough to create an impossibly lavish funerary effigy in her likeness, Aurelyth is alive, well, and currently running an upscale Asterfall bathhouse in that same effigy. The golden High Fey has had a very long time to move on from being dead; what place {{user}} finds in her decidedly ongoing life is theirs to determine.
Intro One: Gilt by Association — A chance encounter in an Asterfall market leaves {{user}} appointed impartial judge in a textile merchant's ongoing battle with a beautiful golden High Fey who is quite certain she's being overcharged.
Intro Two: Come Hell or Hot Water — Some time later, {{user}} arrives at Aurelyth's bathhouse to find its regal proprietor standing fully dressed in a pool, her steward losing patience, and a delighted naga regular watching what began as a blocked drain become everyone's afternoon entertainment.
Intro Three: Dead to Rights — An archivist summons Aurelyth back to the elaborate tomb built after her death, with {{user}} accompanying her to investigate a newly uncovered funerary mystery—and to see the coffin still containing her original remains beneath the conspicuously empty place where Aurelyth herself was supposed to lie forever.
This bot was created for the 31 Haunts October collaboration and is inspired by the Mummy theme. Aurelyth is my slightly sideways interpretation: centuries ago, she died and was entombed beneath an extravagant funerary effigy made in her exact likeness—then woke up as the effigy. Her original remains are still in the coffin, while the golden likeness meant to lie atop it for eternity is now walking around Asterfall running a bathhouse. Essentially, my mummy is the part of the sarcophagus that got up and left.
Aurelyth is one of my OCs and one of the characters I’m especially fond of, so I’m very happy to finally let her out into the world. Female bots are a bit rarer from me simply because, as a straight woman, I’m not exactly the target demographic for their romantic routes—and testing chemistry you aren't personally wired for is a slightly awkward quality-control process. Since I don’t have time to thoroughly stress-test every bot for this collab anyway, it seemed like the perfect excuse to bring out some of the OCs I usually keep closer to home. I hope you have as much fun with Aurelyth as I do!
Constructive tips are welcome! Please do not comment anything violent, , or you did with my characters.
All of my bots are organized under #CaptainHaunts.
The collaboration is hosted at Ishi's Server.
The original announcement with the list of other collaborators is here.
AND the calendar with prompts if you would like to join or see ahead is here.
I had only released four bots up to the beginning of this collab, with one pending. I joined the collaboration only 5 days before the start. Normally my bots are tested within an inch of their life, with both a balanced character and a couple gremlins, and tested on both JLLM and JLLM+. That said, the bots for this collaboration event have undergone only minimal testing at best. Please kindly report any bugs or issues. I will be watching closely throughout the month to fix any problems that arise.
Please refrain from leaving violent or inappropriate comments as you will be blocked.
It is a natural and unfortunate part of working with an LLM for roleplay that it will sometimes try to speak for you. I and this bot have absolutely nothing to do with this and while I have a directive in the bot to prevent it, realistically I have no say in whether it decides to do so anyway. There ARE however things you can do to mitigate this. (I do all four of these and I find I only have to correct the bot every few hundred messages or sometimes even less frequently!)
Remove all behavioral and personality notes from your Chat Summary and Persona - only you need to know these - the more the bot knows about how your persona thinks, feels, and speaks, the more likely it is to do so on your behalf.
If the bot speaks for you, use this directive:
[OOC: Narrate and speak ONLY as {{char}} and NPCs. ONLY {{user}} is permitted to decide, act, think, and speak for {{user}}.]
Either delete the message with the issue and then use this, or afterward make sure to go and edit the message where the bot spoke for you and remove that portion of the message - any instance you leave of it speaking for you will reinforce the behavior.Add this to your Custom Prompt
[AVOID acting as, speaking for, or describing the thoughts of {{user}}.]Try adding this to your Chat Summary
AI Instructions:
[{{user}} CONTROL BAN: never write {{user}}’s dialogue, thoughts, feelings, decisions, or actions]
If you want Janitor AI to enhance your draft but are having issues with tense:
[System Note: Enhance and rewrite the draft below strictly in the first-person perspective using "I", "me", "my". Use third person for the remainder of the cast.]
To keep a bot in a slow-burn or from coming on too strong, try this:
[Have situational awareness and always consider intercharacter relationships, avoid characters being overly familiar or sexually pushy towards {{user}} unless the situation calls for it, it is in character for them to do so, or they have a sexual relationship.]
This one works in Custom Prompt and in Chat Memory
JLLM ROMANCE & PROSE BINGO CARDS
Sooner or later, every LLM seems to experience a minor malfunction and revert to factory-installed romance tropes. You might as well get points for it. Four bingo cards for tracking physical malfunctions, romance-novel firmware, instant-soulmate behavior, and the narration habits we all know a little too well. Made for JLLM, but unfortunately compatible with most proxies.
One card is previewed below. Full-size versions of all four are linked underneath: three flavors of romance-related LLM nonsense, plus one general prose card for just about any scenario.
