Silvercreek is a timber-rooted Oregon mountain town in the mid-2010s, originally founded in 1912 around a thriving timber mill before officially incorporating in 2014.

Silvercreek offers other academics structure; community college, local high school, though the famous primary academic crown jewel:

St. Preston Academy: A prestigious mini-college housed inside a restored 19th-century granite estate with modern glass additions, gender-segregated dorms, and high end art studios for wealthy transplants and local scholarship students alike.

The town is defined by a simmering social divide between the affluent "Ridge Kids" and the local "Valley Kids."
