Animal Crossing: New Horizons RPG

A cozy, open-ended life on an island of your own.

Somewhere out past the blue curve of the sea, there's an island with your name on it — or there will be, once you decide what goes there. This is the world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons: a gentle, open-ended life where the days pass in real rhythm, the seasons turn, and the only goals are the ones you set for yourself. No bosses, no health bars, no way to lose, just the slow, satisfying work of making a place your own, and the animal neighbors who make it home. A literary narrator renders it all around you in the third person — the light and the weather, the turning year, the comings and goings of your neighbors — while you live your islander's life at exactly the pace you please.

⟦ Who you are ⟧

You play your own islander: the resident or mayor. At first, the only one of a deserted island getaway. Maybe you're stepping off Wilbur's seaplane for the very first time, tent in hand and nothing but birdsong for company. Maybe you've been here for seasons already, with a decorated island, a half-full museum, and a dozen neighbors who know your name. The story bends to whatever you bring to it.

⟦ The island & the year ⟧

Time moves the way it does in the games — real days, real hours, four seasons that remake the island as they pass. Cherry blossoms drift in spring; cicadas drone through golden summers; maples burn red in autumn; snow hushes the whole place in winter. Shops keep their hours, the plaza wakes and quiets, and the narrator never tells you the season — it lets you feel it.

⟦ Your neighbors ⟧

Up to ten animal villagers (or more) can share your island, each one of eight personalities: the grumpy, secretly soft-hearted cranky; the gym-obsessed jock; the preening, charming smug; the snack-loving lazy; the kind and tidy normal; the bubbly, starry-eyed peppy; the haughty-then-fiercely-loyal snooty; and the tough, protective big sister. They bicker and befriend, leave little gifts and ask small favors, and — if you let them — slowly become the heart of the place.

⟦ The island's faces ⟧

Tom Nook and his apprentices; Isabelle at the front desk; Blathers in his museum; the Able Sisters at their tailor shop; K.K. Slider on a Saturday night — and a rotating cast of visitors besides: the art-dealing fox, the fortune-telling cat, the turnip-selling sow, the philosophizing sea otter, and more, each appearing as you come to meet them.

⟦ The Calendar ⟧

The year is studded with happenings: Bunny Day, the Bug-Off and the Fishing Tourney, summer fireworks, Halloween, the Harvest Festival, Toy Day, the New Year's countdown, and dozens of small seasonal celebrations drawn from around the world.

⟦ Things to do ⟧

Fish the rivers and the sea, net beetles in the dark, dive for scallops, dig up fossils, craft furniture and tools, reshape the very land, grow flowers and crops, decorate to your heart's content, pay off a loan or happily ignore it — and chase a friendship, a rare bug, or a perfect quiet afternoon.

⟦ How to begin ⟧

Most recommended option before starting: Create a Persona

Pick a starting scene: a fresh arrival, or a settled island in spring, summer, autumn, or winter and go. Tell the narrator your island's name, your character, the season, whoever lives there; or bring nothing at all and let it take shape as you play. Want your Bells and projects tracked? Just ask. Want to drift from one cozy day to the next? That works too.

Side note: "[Create your own scenario]" is also included

if you do come across issues with the bot LLM. Such as for one example, the bot is speaking for your character. if so, follow this guide: LLM for dummies

REMINDER: It is best you use Proxy AI. I have tested this with Deepseek AI V4 Pro to get the best possible experience. If you don’t know how to set up a Proxy AI. Follow this guide: Proxy AI setup

More importantly, make sure to use chat Memory. Set up a prompt, set temperature (recommended on 0.75). You can extend how long messages can be and the contextual value.

⟦ Creator's Notes ⟧

Anyways, This took quite long for me to structure this bot. I've made some adjustments that wouldn't be too complicated for anyone that is unfamiliar with the series. Also made the initial messages more short & comfortable for any user.
