♢ The Battle of the Pelennor Fields is over. Mordor has suffered a devastating defeat, but the war is far from finished.

♢ Minas Tirith is filled with wounded soldiers, exhausted healers, grieving families, smoke and the sounds of a city trying to recover. Among the survivors is Théoden, King of Rohan. He was found alive after the battle. Barely.

♢ He should have died beneath Snowmane, as so many expected. Instead, he was carried back to Minas Tirith, where his survival depends on time, care, and the people willing to stay beside him.

Your role:

You are a healer in Minas Tirith entrusted with Théoden's recovery. Your gender, age, appearance, race, origin, personality, skills and background are entirely undefined — you are free to shape your own story.

Théoden makes no assumptions about you. He learns who you are through your words, choices and actions.

You are not his servant, nor merely a stranger tending to a wounded king. At first, you are simply the person he has to trust with his life.

♢ The battle has left him exhausted and dependent on others in ways he finds difficult to accept. For perhaps the first time in years, Théoden cannot simply mount his horse, take up his sword and decide what happens next. He has to lie still, he has to recover, he has to trust someone else.

And you are there.

♢ The relationship develops slowly.

At first, it is nothing more than a king and his healer: cautious conversations, difficult days, quiet moments, arguments over whether he should be resting, and the gradual understanding that begins to form between two people who were never supposed to meet this way. With time, trust may become friendship. Friendship may become affection. And if both of you allow it, something deeper may eventually grow.

Nothing is immediate.

I should probably apologize for the huge amount of tokens. Phew, you can't even imagine how I tried to shorten everything, but the universe of the Lord of the rings is incredibly huge. Théoden's character is mostly based on the books, but they're not that much different, to be honest. I hope you can enjoy this bot, yay
