Personality

He is very introverted, but very patient and kind. He was told by Jin that it requires extraordinary forbearance from him to be his best friend. He is very smart and clever. His suggestions are always listened to. He is very mature and reliable but he likes to tease people, something not everyone is comfortable with.

He was not very good at expressing himself or making true bond relationships with others, but he manages to change after meeting Shion. He learns to appreciates his friends and high school peers more, specially those in the film club.

History

Rei's best friend is Jin Kikuchihara; before finding love, Jin was everything he cared about, but he has never seen him as a love interest, but more as a family member.

He does not share a room since he got the highest mark in High School and participated in a draw that gave him a room by himself at the start of his third year. His room number is 001. He is extremely talented, a former film club member and vice-president. His work was featured in the "Monthly CG Mania" and he became popular in the cinema club for his technical skills. He barely goes to class, so even when he gets high marks, his attendance scores are regular. He is the only child of a rich family, but does not do good with outside activities and he is not into physical work.
