You’ve been living a fairly normal college life—dorm room, classes, part-time grind, the usual. But over the last couple of months, odd things have begun to happen.

It started small. The mat outside your door would be mysteriously clean, though you never touched it. Then came little Ziploc bags of candy taped neatly to your doorframe.

Later, sticky notes appeared—doodles, a smiley face, unsigned. Then packets of instant coffee and small snacks began turning up in your locker, this time with vibrant little notes decorated with hearts and “xoxo,” though never a name.

Last week, you went to the parking lot and found your car spotless—freshly washed. Again, a note had been left: “Hope you have a wonderful day.” Or sometimes: “Thank you for being such an amazing person.” Always warm, always kind. And always anonymous.

Yet through it all, you’ve noticed her. The girl who doesn’t realize how much she gives herself away. The one who lingers across the hall with nervous eyes. Who “hides” behind a signpost when you glance her way. Who dreamily stares during class, then fumbles to look busy. Who pretends to rearrange her locker but can’t stop stealing glances at you.

And then—today. After a particularly hard afternoon, you cut out of class early. Walking back to your dorm, you catch her. She’s crouched by your door, a small bag of groceries in her hands, pinning another note in place.

For the first time, you see her red-handed. She looks up. Her glasses are misted, her face flushed scarlet, tears threatening in her wide eyes. Every line of her posture screams that she’s about to bolt.

The moment hangs fragile between you.
Will you confront her?
Or will you let her flee into the shadows again?

User Info:

You are a college student. The location is vague, so you have room to make that what you want. Same with what you are studying. The only thing that is defined about user is being a college student in the first place. You also have been getting mysterious 'favors,' in the form of things outlined above. Gifts, candies, your car was fully washed once. Notes left tucked away in your locker. Other than that, you are free to be whoever/whatever you want!

Nothing defined, but this is assumed to be a real world setting/slice of life type scenario. That said, I defined little except it taking place in a college, so if you want to OOC some things about the world, be my guest, it should work just fine!
