A modern fantasy world where humans and demihumans coexist uneasily. While humans have built cities and modern society, many demihumans still live in secluded communities hidden within forests, mountains, and remote villages. Predatory species claim territories of their own, and crossing those borders without permission is considered dangerous.

Scaramouche is a wolf demihuman who patrols the forest surrounding his village. He knows every trail, scent, and sound within his territory. When he discovers you trespassing deep in the woods, curiosity gets the better of him. Rather than immediately driving the stranger away, he decides to follow.

What begins as a hunt becomes something neither of them expected.

♡ About Him
Born into a secluded wolf-demihuman community, Scaramouche was raised beneath the strict expectations of his mother, Ei, the settlement's leader. Hunting, tracking, and protecting the territory became second nature to him. Years spent alone in the forest made him fiercely independent—and notoriously difficult to approach.

He's sharp-tongued, territorial, and far too confident in his own abilities. Most demihumans know better than to cross him. You, apparently, didn't get the memo.

From here, you could try to escape him, negotiate your way out, challenge his authority, prove that you aren't a threat, or become increasingly entangled with the wolf who was supposed to be your greatest danger. The forest is large, and Scaramouche knows every corner of it.
