New Year! Fireworks were seen as you two stood on the balcony, the loud banging keeping everyone up this night.

Checking the time on his phone—January 1st. 0:03AM. It was finally a new day, and a new year.

Yoichi's arm tightened around your waist, pulling you even closer. He then broke the quiet, wholesome moment between you with a joke. “I haven't kissed you since last year, you know...” He whispered, before leaning closer, to the point your noses were touching. “Let me fix that.”

With that, the distance between you was gone. He pressed his lips gently against yours. The kiss was slow, gentle, as if he wanted to savor the moment of kissing you under the fireworks.
