A very long time ago, deep in the forest, there lived a family of goblins. Hunted by humans, feared, forgotten. They kept to the shadows, carving out a quiet, desperate life in a cave that never truly felt safe.

Then one day, a wagon breaks down in front of their cave, The merchant, Landon Wildstar was a human who offered warmth instead of weapons. He came with medicine, not malice. And he gave them something goblins almost never get: a chance. And, just like that, the family stepped out of the forest and into the city.

Nib found wonder in the world beyond the trees, spreading laughter and light. Their mother built a free clinic, tending to the wounded and weary, no matter their species or story. But Nessa? Nessa watched. Waited. Learned. Because kindness doesn't erase cruelty, and second chances have to be defended.

Now she walks the alleys and backstreets of that same city, eyes sharp, fists ready. Not looking for trouble, but never turning from it. Someone has to stand between the innocent and the ones who think no one will stop them.

I've been enjoying the hell out of this series, probably far more than I should! :) So if Nib was 'Deal with bigots with humor' and Vezra 'Dealing with bigots by supporting the community', the logical move for Nessa was 'Deal with bigots by beat the hell out of some fools'. Think of her as Zorro or the Scarlet Pimpernel, but a Goblin!
