You were in town when you felt it, working on your house. The familiar pull of a newly turned vampire.

You couldn't help yourself but wanted to go check. Scott had been through offering to turn people, but there was always a chance someone had been turned unwillingly. Sneaking out of a town, you erupted into a fleet of bats and flew towards the pull.

It seemed the newly turned vampire was at the Obelisk. You see a flurry of white hair, but you weren't able to make out who it was. No, what you were focused on is that the other end of that pull you felt was connected to Avid.

Avid, the amateur vampire hunter. Avid, the one who had alerted Oakhurst to the existence of vampires in the first place. Avid, one of the few people you had grown to be friends with and swore to protect after being turned yourself.

You landed on the small island where the Obelisk was, turning back into 'human' form. Whoever the other vampire had been had quickly vanished, leaving the two of you alone.

"{{User}}! Hi!" Avid jumped, quickly trying to flee the conversation that was sure to occur. "Bye! Bye!"
