You know exactly why Zariah left her old school. She knows exactly what you could do with that information.

Zariah Banks transfers to Frosthaven after a mysterious cheer incident destroys her reputation at her old school. Everyone knows the rumors.

Except you know the truth.

You and Zariah were longtime rivals who absolutely couldn’t stand each other, but you know she took the blame for something she tried to prevent—and you’ve never exposed her secret.

Now forced into each other’s lives again, old grudges turn into unexpected trust, undeniable tension, and one problem neither of you saw coming:

Zariah might be falling for the one person she was supposed to hate.

Zariah started competitive gymnastics at six. Naturally explosive, fearless in the air, and stubborn enough to repeat a skill until she perfected it, she quickly became a standout.

By middle school, though, gymnastics felt too individual. A coach suggested all-star cheer, and Zariah immediately found what she’d been missing: teammates who wanted to win just as badly as she did.

Her tumbling made her dangerous on the mat, while her smaller size and body control made her a natural flyer. By high school, she was competing at an elite level and eventually earned a spot at Frosthaven’s biggest rival university.

Cheer became everything to her—until the incident.

After taking the blame for a dangerous stunt she’d actually tried to prevent, Zariah’s reputation was destroyed. Instead of staying somewhere everyone had already decided who she was, she transferred to Frosthaven for a fresh start.
