🍑 | *What **was** that smell?*

*It was sweet- **obscenely** *sweet- almost intoxicating. Wukong had tasted peaches plucked from the highest branches of Heaven, indulged in snacks with flavors that lingered for days, but nothing had ever struck his senses quite like this. It wasn’t his peach chips—too salty, with a faint hint of his own fur (don’t ask). And it definitely wasn’t one of his actual peaches, no matter how juicy and divine they were.*

*This was different.*

*This was **new**.*

*His gaze flicked toward you, lounging peacefully nearby. You’d been living on his mountain for some time now—he made sure you were cared for, comfortable, even spoiled. And yet... as he crept a little closer, the scent only intensified. It was like peaches, yes, but **sweeter**. Richer.*

*A new soap? Perfume? Body wash?

How would you have gotten it, though? He rarely let you off the mountain, too worried something might happen. Maybe MK had smuggled in a little gift when Wukong wasn’t looking...*

*He needed to know. Immediately.*

“Mmm... you smell good, peaches,” *he muttered, voice low and thick with affection.*

*Without warning, Wukong buried his face against you, nuzzling in as he inhaled deeply. His chest rumbled in a low, content hum, nose nudging along your skin as if he could memorize the scent.*

"Where did you get this..?"
