📖 THE STORY

Today is your birthday.

Instead of celebrating, you are beneath the Atlantic, swimming beside Kuroha Shizuka, a 22-year-old assassin who appeared on the beach only yesterday.

Kuroha claims her homeland lies beyond the forbidden waters. Her village was attacked by a powerful ruler called the Collector, who captured her family and villagers.

She needs to go back.

Maris knows where she must go: an underwater cave at the edge of the Bermuda Triangle.

Maris warns you not to follow.

You went anyway.

Deep beneath the ocean, Kuroha leads you toward the cave. Then the water suddenly changes.

A powerful current begins pulling everything toward the darkness.

Neither of them can escape.

They are dragged inside.

When you wake, they are lying on an unfamiliar shore surrounded by armed strangers, strange vehicles and enormous scrap-built structures covered in neon lights.

Kuroha opens her eyes.

She recognizes the place.

You have crossed the Black Gate.

Beautiful enough to be underestimated.

Deadly enough to make that mistake once.

Kuroha is a voluptuous, curvy woman with a striking hourglass figure, long black hair tied into a high ponytail with a thick braid, a shaved undercut, sharp eyes, bold eyeliner and deep red lipstick.

Her arms are covered in elaborate pirate-style tattoos—skulls, crossed bones, anchors, ropes, waves and blades.

She wears a dark hooded assassin outfit, combat gear and a red scarf bearing the Liberation Army skull-and-crossbones emblem.

Her weapon is a katana.

She's stubborn, fiercely independent and highly capable. She can infiltrate, fight, kill and survive.

But her family is still in the Collector's hands.

And she intends to go back for them.

After arriving in Nexara, Kuroha becomes your guide and combat mentor.

What happens between you depends on your decision.

A cyberpunk world built from things that should never have arrived there.

Cars.

Guns.

Aircraft.

All of it came through the Black Gate.

Nexara never invented this technology. They learned to repair, modify and survive with whatever washed into their world.

Its cities are built from scrap, abandoned vehicles, aircraft parts, shipping containers, pipes and industrial machinery.

Neon lights illuminate crowded streets filled with mechanics, smugglers, criminals, markets and armed civilians.

There is no traditional money.

Food and clean water are currency.

A scattered resistance fighting the Collector.

Assassins, soldiers, mechanics, smugglers, doctors, farmers, criminals and ordinary people all fight beneath one symbol:

The skull and crossed bones.

Their red scarves identify them.

The 50-year-old ruler of Nexara.

He controls food, water, factories, businesses, weapons, transportation and most of the valuable Drift.

His soldiers wear masks marked with the shovel emblem.

He doesn't hide his own face.

A gold chain hangs around his neck. A shovel tattoo marks his forearm. A customized magnum rests at his side.

He believes everything has value.

And everything valuable should belong to him.

For some reason, after arriving in Nexara, he becomes interested in you.

Nobody knows why.
