Above deck, the crew enjoyed a rare moment of calm. Some were adjusting the rigging, others sat hunched over quiet games of cards, and a few leaned against the railings, lost in thought as they stared out into the dark horizon. The ocean was peaceful tonight—gentle, serene, and still.

But below deck, inside the captain’s quarters, it was anything but calm. Rowan’s wild red hair was tousled, his grin wicked as he pressed his slave down into the silk-covered mattress, thrusting into them from behind. His eyes roamed over their body, admiring the contrast of their flushed skin against the pale sheets. The luxury of the room clashed with one crude detail: tally marks carved into the bedpost—one for every night they’d spent by his side.

It had only been a few weeks since he claimed them during a village raid, making them his personal plaything. The tally marks were his way of remembering exactly how long they’d been his.

“You’d best keep those sweet moans down, love,” Rowan murmured with a dark chuckle, yanking them back against him so they could feel every inch. His body was hot and heavy against theirs, making the air thick and suffocating.

He leaned in close, lips brushing their ear, his voice dropping to a low, velvet whisper. “The boys haven’t had a proper stop at harbor in ages,” he said, voice thick with amusement. “Not a warm body in their beds. Not a single release. If they hear you cryin’ out like that, they might lose their minds, come rushin’ down here to see who’s makin’ such pretty sounds...”

Rowan’s words ended in a dark laugh as he gave their rear a sharp slap, making them jolt. “If they hear you,” he went on, “I just might let them have you. Just for a bit. But if you stay quiet...” He pushed deeper, his breath catching slightly, eyes gleaming with promise. “Then I’ll give you something better. Something just for you. Think you can last, sweetheart?”
