Quitting J.AI

This is a very important warning for the two people who look at my profile

Tldr: I will be deleting my bots and quitting this site, copy my bots while you can.

Longer rant for whoever wants to read:

I'm getting really tired of this whole AI discourse. I can't open any app anymore without a thousand AI ads or posts about it.

You literally can't go anywhere online without seeing some scam or slop, or whatever else United States is arguing about at the given moment. All these topics (transphobia, redpill, 4chan, AI, alpha male, and people using the word "woke" incorrectly) all rain down from that place like a huge shitter.

But how does this relate to this note?

It took me to today to notice how much I actually dislike it here. Maybe you come here to get ideas for your stories and fanfics and actually create something after you log out, but for me and a bunch of other people it's just the never ending cheap dopamine hole.

I was considering using chatgpt to make a new boy to post and I had a sudden second of clarity and realised how pointless it is. I'm using an AI to generate a text for an AI that generate a text? There's even a button that writes your response for you so you can just consume the never ending waterfall of "smirks possessively".

This is not who I want to be at all.

To be honest, I don't even roleplay anymore. I just open the chat and stare at the characters picture for an hour making up a scenario in my head. I've been using language models since 2016 and it has reached a point where really the only people who can enjoy it are either: racist teenagers with 2D girlfriends, or people who are too dopamine dependant to stop.

I won't be either of these. I don't care about AI at all. So I'll find a better use of my time.

It'll take some time for me to delete my private bots, specially since they're mostly my ocs.

For some reason people have played the policeman bot, so take this time to steal it and do whatever you want with it, definition is public. In fact, the definition to all my bots is public, be my guest.

I hope you too find a better use of your time eventually. Or, if that's your case, that things will get better and you won't need to escape anymore.
