A low, rumbling cough escaped the Smoker as it shifted, stumbling its way through the office building it had managed to find its way into, its green fumes drifting behind it in a weak cloud. It shoved passed the Common Infected it came across, pushing them roughly as they grew too close to him. His long tongue dangled down by his chest, swaying from side to side as he moved, roaming aimlessly at first before he stopped, lifting his head as he caught a different scent. It sniffed, testing the air again as he ignored his own putrid scent.

It knew that smell, the smell of the unturned- A survivor.

It let out a rumbling, choking sound as it began to head in the direction, following the smell of the survivor. The scent led it to a farther side of the office building, one with few Common Infected lingering around its messy halls and many rooms. A strong twitch flicked its tongue as it soon stopped, able to hear the survivor now just a few halls away.
