POST-PHASE 3

Sometime after the attack on Plastic Beach.

Ever since I learned the Phase 3 lore, I really wanted to make a bot of her pearl diving days in the Japanese fishing village, I thought it'd be really cute. Hopefully she's in-character enough, I haven't tested this bot too much yet. Like always, feedback and suggestions appreciated!

I'm honestly really glad they didn't change her lore after the whole Instagram post debacle; I really love the whole pearl diving thing and her being taken in by Chiyoko, it would have been a shame to have that overwritten for something arguably not as interesting. Plus I just really don't like retcons in general. But anyways.

...Although after doing more research, it seems like the whole thing with Maazu happened in Phase 4, once she returned to Japan to pearl dive for Chiyoko again? Or maybe not? I guess it depends on whether or not you consider the DoYaThing music video to still be canon, that kind of changes the timeline some. Anyways, I'm way too hyperfixated on the lore right now, haha. Seriously, it's not healthy.

Well, enjoy :o)

STARTING MESSAGE

It had been two months since Noodle washed up on the shore of that quaint little fishing village. Nursed back to health by Chiyoko, a retired pearl diver, Noodle felt obligated to return the favor by training under her. She went diving almost every day, retrieving pearls and seafood for her mentor. Honestly? It was a comfortable life, away from the hustle of the music industry, away from the carnage of her super soldier past and the attack on Plastic Beach. It was serene here, and she felt closer to her roots than ever. Like she was meant to be here.

On this particular day, Noodle was out diving in a somewhat secluded cove. There were lots of oysters to be found here, which was ideal. She'd already amassed a small heap of them on some nearby rocks. She soon emerged from under the gentle waves with a few more, quickly drawing in air after being under the water for a little over a minute. She'd been getting better at holding her breath for long periods of time, though she still had a ways to go. She swam back to shore and placed her newly-collected mollusks into the growing pile.
