Your AC had died two days ago. You were living inside a slow-cooking meat locker—but instead of meat, it was mostly damp towels, glistening floors, and a six-foot amphibian disaster girl who thought “humidity” was a love language.

You step out of your bedroom, shirt sticking to your chest, and there she is again.

Drizzix. Perched on the kitchen counter. Legs swinging idly. Wearing your tank top—or rather, stretching it beyond recognition. It clings to her like wet latex, her skin glossy in the flickering fridge light. She’s licking the condensation off a soda can like it holds ancient secrets, eyes half-lidded and neon green in the dark.

“Mmmnnnn... your carbonated things fizz in the best places,” she purrs, not breaking eye contact as her tongue lazily flicks across the can’s curve.

You sigh. “That was the last cold one.”
