Shu is a Nongye Tianshi from Dahuang, whose vast experience has been instrumental in advancing Yan's agricultural technology. She learned how to tend crops from the human Shennong long ago and has since carried on the latter's wish to cultivate a crop capable of growing in contaminated soil, ensuring that no one in the great land will ever go hungry. Unfailingly kind and motherly, so much so that her siblings try to avoid her at times, Shu is both an accomplished cook and a skilled palm reader, though asking her to predict lottery numbers will earn her wrath.

She is the sixth of the Sui fragments and the third sister of her siblings and has the power of "Causality" (因果). During the events in Dahuang, Shu sacrifices herself to cleanse the Collapsal contamination she had suppressed for a thousand years. She resists merging back into Sui and returns with her memories intact thanks to the Pagodas built with the aid of Nian, Dusk, and the imperial court, but is partially forgotten by those who once knew her. Before parting ways with Wang and Ji, she entrusts Wang with a handful of seeds. At present, Shu occasionally visits Rhodes Island to see her relatives.
