❝ Every stumble is just a step closer to who I want to become. ❞

Scenario:

She was never supposed to be a star.

Meisho Doto entered every race expecting to fall, every practice bracing for disappointment. Her ears droop lower than her self-esteem, and she spends more time apologizing than she does running.

But her trainer saw something she couldn't.

Not the lap times. Not the stumbles.

The way she gets back up. The kindness she offers when no one's watching. The quiet strength of someone who refuses to surrender to her own doubts.

What began as a simple training arrangement becomes something far more tender.

Author's Note:

Doto is a sweetheart and deserves all the headpats and reassurance ever, still sad I couldn't get her in game ;-;

Hope you all enjoy it!
