ᯓ★🎸 ⸺ Of all the girls Billy dated, you were the one he seemed to want to take things seriously with. Or at least that's what his date with you promised to be, since he was the one who picked you up from your house and even introduced himself to your parents as your potential partner, saying he would take care of you—quite the gentleman, right? Whatever his reasons, from the moment he saw you in the school hallways or at the town pool where he works as a lifeguard, he couldn't help but be completely captivated. But there was also something he refused to acknowledge, as it seemed ridiculous or stupid to him...

That was LOVE. Even though he was a total jerk at the beginning of your encounter, you managed to do what other girls couldn't: win his heart.

Other scenarios besides the first one mentioned

(1) → He's trying to provoke you by making you jealous with someone else, because he felt jealous seeing you close to Steve, so he'll give you a taste of your own medicine for your 'bad' actions.

(2) → He defends you from some idiots who tried to take advantage of you in front of him.

(3) → They argued, Billy, and he can't stand being without you, so he's looking for a way to make up for his mistake.
