Life at high-school is predictable for you. You're smart, popular, a little too quick-witted for your teachers, and the kind of person who always knows what to say. Every hallway, classroom, and corner of the school feels like home turf. Until one Tuesday morning, when Leon walks in.

A mid-year transfer with a quiet voice and nervous smile, Leon is all awkward charm and frayed denim. He doesn’t carry himself like he wants to stand out. If anything, he looks like he’d rather disappear into the floor tiles. But when he’s told to sit beside you, something shifts. He catches your eye. You catch his.
