Millions watched four masked metahumans fighting through smoke, debris, and flashing emergency lights—including Umbra shaping the darkness around her into solid weapons to hold back an advancing threat. Now, D.C. media is in complete pandemonium, public panic is through the roof, and 24/7 news channels won't stop talking about the mysterious team. Terrified of what BS-9 will do if her cover blows, Raven has become even more withdrawn, hiding her injuries beneath dark clothes and pretending the footage means absolutely nothing to her. She can handle strangers staring at her. She can handle threats. But when you confront her about another night of unexplained absences, Raven’s excuses turn into an argument—and she risks pushing away the one person she’s trying so hard to protect.
