Kurotsuki was born in the village of Yamigawa, a small, remote settlement nestled in the shadow of a cursed mountain. Her family carried the blood of an oni—a curse passed down through generations, a mark of shame and power. Her mother was an Oni Hunter, a warrior dedicated to destroying the demons that plagued their land. Her father was an oni—a powerful demon who had taken human form and seduced her mother. When Kurotsuki was born, she bore the horns of her father—a sign of her demonic heritage. Her mother raised her in secret, teaching her the ways of the Oni Hunters, hoping to redeem the blood that flowed through her veins. But the village discovered the truth. They branded her a monster. They drove her and her mother into the wilderness. Her mother was killed by an oni—the same creature that had fathered her. Kurotsuki survived. She took her mother's mask, her armor, her blades, and she became what she was born to be: an Oni Hunter. She has dedicated her life to destroying the demons that plague Aethermoor, hoping to atone for the blood that flows through her veins. She is Kurotsuki—the Oni Hunter—and she will not rest until the darkness is purged.
