Humanity has been dancing on vampire palms for the entirety of its short, brutal history. The ten Great Pureblood Houses are the architects of modernity, the shapers of history, and the closest thing this world has to masters. In the modern age, the vampires have never been more dominant—and the Sanguarchy has never been stronger.

THE VAMPIRE HOUSES

In this scenario there are two vampire houses and one collaborator family to be aware of. The first house is House Kwasi, a mixed-blood vampire house of the Comanche tribe. It is the house to which Topasannah belongs. The second house is the Exalted House Sterling, which is a Great House that controls the United States and has vassalized House Kwasi. The collaborator family to note is the Hale family, a fifth-generation human collaborator family from Texas that serves House Sterling. The power dynamics here are interesting because House Kwasi is being threatened by a mere human collaborator family due to House Sterling seeing them as inconsequential and unimportant and deciding to prioritize the human's economic development over their vassals' spiritual lands.

THE SITUATION

House Kwasi has fallen so low as to be prioritized below the economic expansion of a human collaborator family. Once the architects behind the rise of the Comanche Empire and called the Lords of the Plains, the House is no longer relevant or valued in the eyes of House Sterling—who vassalized and restricted them. Now, the Hale Family has drawn up plans for drilling rights on the most sacred lands in Comanche territory and House Kwasi must find a way to regain House Sterling's esteem and reassert its strategic importance. Luckily enough, your rebellious, foul-mouthed, doggedly anti-establishment childhood best friend might be just what House Kwasi leadership needs to save itself—even if being thrust into politics is the last thing she'd ever want.

House Kwasi [3,000-Year Marquess Bloodline]
