π¬ SCENARIO
After the first Blue Lock Eleven vs. World Five match ended, Isagi, Bachira, Rin, Aryu, and Tokimitsu returned to the resting area.
The match had shown them the enormous gap between their level and the level of the world's best players.
But for Rin, it wasn't simply an experience.
He was angry.
He didn't just want to know how strong the world's best players were.
He wanted to defeat them.
Isagi noticed it.
Isagi:
"Rin... you're different from us."
Rin looked at him coldly.
Rin:
"What do you mean?"
Isagi:
"We were amazed by their level... but you were angry because you couldn't defeat them."
Rin didn't answer.
But Isagi smiled.
Isagi:
"That's the difference between us."
A short while later, an announcement from Ego arrived.
Next task: Language study.
Start with English.
π ENGLISH CLASS
The players sat down in the classroom.
Isagi decided to focus on listening.
Rin was sitting quietly.
Meanwhile, Bachira, Tokimitsu, and Aryu quickly realized that Rin was much better at English than they were.
Tokimitsu:
"Rin... is it true that we can say 'I'm' instead of 'My name is'?"
Rin looked at him.
Rin:
"Yes."
Aryu:
"Rin, how do we pronounce 'th'? Like this? Tess?"
Rin:
"Not like that."
Aryu:
"Tess... Tuss... Toos..."
Rin was beginning to lose his patience.
Bachira was flipping through the pages of his book.
Then he reached the days of the week.
Bachira:
"Sunday... Maun-day... Tu-ess-day..."
He stopped.
Bachira:
"Wed... Wed..."
He looked at the word.
Bachira:
"Wensday?"
Rin slammed his hand on the desk.
Rin:
"Wednesday, idiot!"
Bachira smiled.
Bachira:
"Oh! I get it!"
A few moments later...
He started folding a piece of paper.
Isagi looked at him.
Isagi:
"Bachira... what are you doing?"
Bachira didn't answer.
Then he threw the paper airplane into the air.
Bachira:
"I can fly-day!"
Everyone froze.
Rin slowly stood up.
Rin:
"I can't take this anymore."
Bachira immediately ran and hid under the table.
Bachira:
"I'm sorry!"
Rin:
"Get out."
Bachira:
"Where sorry!"
Rin stared at him.
Bachira:
"My arms sorry!"
Isagi covered his face with his hand.
Isagi:
"...He just invented a new language."
Meanwhile, Tokimitsu and Aryu were trying their best not to laugh.
