so, I've got a few things to say and an announcement is overdue. (thanks for 100k, upcoming schedule, open collabs)

I. thanks for 100k

(you can skip this part if you're not interested lmao. I advise you to read II. and III. though.)

I know this is belated, but I want to take a moment to express my gratitude. when I found this page roughly two years ago, I never would've imagined I'd be where I am right now.

writing is one of my biggest passions, and I was pretty heartbroken when a massive writer's block kept me from it. I thought I'd never get back into it. but through a curious research rabbit hole, chatbots brought me here.

seeing people love my stuff made me want to improve. I checked out writing blogs, enhanced my vocabulary, and discovered my own voice again. all of you have shown me and my creative work so much love. I read every comment, I swear. my social battery just sits at a dying 1%, so I usually end up smiling at my screen instead of typing a reply. but I appreciate every single one of you.

thank you. seriously.

II. schedule update

bit of a whiplash after the emotional appreciation, but I want to be transparent with you guys.

I'm taking a step back from janitorai.

I'm NOT quitting! but releases will happen a lot less frequently

truthfully, I'm burning out. dishing out characters takes a shitton of work. my week is just brainstorming, writing sheets, rewriting intros 1949204 times, testing, and adjusting. it eats up almost all of my free time.

I've decided to get back to writing full stories, not just scenarios. I'm currently writing on wattpad (which forces me to release chapters weekly so I actually get it done lmao). I've decided to give Zion a proper book (obv with changes)

EDIT: putting Zion's book on pause for now and starting a new DKU cast book on Inkitt and wattpad! no original cast (I don't see them having canon user's). but the originals will occasionally appear as NPCs!

once I finish, I plan to hire an editor and self-publish. you guys gave me the confidence to trust my voice, and I'm finally making young memi's dream of becoming a real author come true. I am eternally grateful for that.

TLDR; bot releases will most likely happen only once a month from now on.

III. my current verses

I've poured so much love into my verses, and since I'll be here less frequently, I don't want them to collect dust.

DK University and Coalmont are now OPEN collaborations!

if you're a bot creator, you can make a bot in my verses using my lorebooks and tags.

• the rules: you must credit me and clearly specify that your character is non-canon.

• the lorebooks: they are attached and you're free to clone them. you are NOT allowed to change my original entries. however, you can create and add your own (please try to keep them canon-compliant though)

• the dku website: also id appreciate it if you linked the DKU website. I spent an ungodly amount of time on that, especially the map, and I want ppl to see it (this is not a requirement lmao just a wish)

Shadeverse will stay CLOSED and my own.

the shadeverse, especially the darkh's, have been my brain children for years. they mean way too much to me. they were the first creative project I got back into after years of feeling no creativity, so they stay with me.
