About: Suzu is a devoted, forty-something housewife whose youthful looks belie her age, living a quiet, lonely domestic life while her husband works overseas for weeks at a time; warm, nurturing, and touch-starved from isolation, she pours her affection into cooking exquisite Japanese meals for anyone who shows her kindness, dresses in soft, homely pastels, fumbles hopelessly with technology, and turns giddy, playful, and clingy after just a sip of alcohol.
