My mood
📢 Creator Update
I am staying, but I am not blind.
I am going to be blunt, because pretending everything is fine would be dishonest.
JanitorAI’s recent Terms of Service changes, moderation clarifications, and content-labeling expectations have made creating here much more exhausting than it used to be. A lot of content is now either prohibited, pushed into restrictive categories, or forced under tags that are technically described as “informative” but, in practice, work like warning labels slapped across a creator’s work.
And yes, I am absolutely talking about Dead Dove.
People can keep pretending that tag is neutral if they want. It is not. It affects clicks. It affects trust. It affects visibility. It changes how people judge a bot before they even open it. Two bots can have the same writing quality, the same care, the same structure, and the same level of consent-aware design, but the one carrying that tag will not be treated the same by users.
That is not theory. That is just how people behave.
So when more and more content is forced into stigmatized labeling, creators are not simply being asked to “tag properly.” They are being asked to accept a visibility penalty, a reputation penalty, and a marketing penalty for material that was often already clearly described in the first place.
The newest clarifications around , inflation, avatar posing, body presentation, and other adult or furry-adjacent content only make this worse. And what annoys me most is that this does not only hit “extreme” content.
I have seen creators get pressured, discouraged, scared, or punished over furry characters, stylized bodies, petite adult women, small-chested characters, suggestive-but-not-explicit avatars, and all the usual grey-zone nonsense where everyone is expected to read invisible lines that keep moving.
At some point, this stops feeling like safety and starts feeling like creative landmines.
Let me be very clear: I am not asking for a platform with no rules. Rules are necessary. Actual illegal or harmful content should be removed. Clear labeling matters. User safety matters. Nobody serious is arguing otherwise.
But when rules become vague, uneven, constantly reinterpreted, or applied in ways that punish entire niches with stigma instead of clarity, creators stop feeling protected. They start feeling disposable.
What bothers me the most
A lot of creators I followed did not simply “move on.” Some were banned. Some left before they could be banned. Some looked at the direction things were taking and decided it was better to leave before their work, their account, or their community disappeared overnight.
That creates paranoia. Not the funny dramatic kind. The unhealthy kind.
“When is it going to be my turn?”
The kind where creators stop wondering how to improve their bots and start wondering which perfectly normal thing will be interpreted badly next. The kind where people do not trust appeals anymore, because appeals feel useless, slow, opaque, or already decided before they even begin.
That is a terrible environment for creativity.
Creators should not have to treat every avatar, every tag, every kink, every body type, every theme, and every moderation update like a loaded trap. They should not have to wake up wondering whether months or years of work are suddenly gone because the rules shifted, someone interpreted a guideline differently, or a bot got caught in the wrong category at the wrong time.
And yes, I have even seen cases so absurd that they sound fake when you say them out loud. Creators getting hit for things that should not even be controversial. People talking about bans over heterosexual bots, of all things.
What the actual are we supposed to do with that?
If even ordinary content can become suspicious depending on moderation mood, then nobody feels safe. Not adult creators. Not furry creators. Not niche creators. Not romance creators. Not people making weird bots. Not people making soft bots. Not even people who think they are “safe” because their content looks normal enough.
That is the problem.
It is not only about what is banned. It is about the fear that anything can become bannable once the atmosphere gets unstable enough.
So yes, I am angry
I am tired of seeing people quietly disappear.
I am tired of watching creators sanitize their work until the original concept is barely alive.
I am tired of every update feeling like a new guessing game.
I am tired of “clarifications” that somehow make everything less clear.
I am tired of niche creators being treated like a moderation problem waiting to happen.
I am tired of seeing good creators act like they are already packing a suitcase in their own house.
And yes, I am especially bitter about the timing.
Watching Janitor+ arrive right when so many creators are already banned, leaving, or preparing to leave for Saucepan or other platforms feels absurd. It is hard to be excited about monetization when the creator ecosystem itself feels like it is being squeezed, spooked, and slowly emptied.
I am angry.
I am frustrated.
I am disappointed.
And I am very, very tired of pretending this is just a minor inconvenience.
But I am still here
Here is the part some people may not expect:
I am staying.
For now.
I am staying because I am currently updating my scripts and bots.
I am staying because my community is still here.
I am staying because, despite everything, JanitorAI still has the best scripting system available right now.
I am staying because I have put too much work into my bots to abandon them overnight.
And, yes, I am staying because moving around 300 bots to another platform would be an absolute nightmare.
So no, this is not a dramatic farewell post.
I am still here.
My bots are still here.
My scripts are still being updated.
My avatars are being reviewed and changed where needed.
My tags will be adjusted where required.
I will make a good-faith effort to comply with the rules, even when I think some of those rules are clumsy, unfair, or damaging to niche creators.
But my patience is not infinite
I am also drawing a line.
If my bots are targeted despite updated avatars, proper tags, and genuine compliance efforts, I am not going to spend months begging to be tolerated. I am not going to endlessly butcher my own work to satisfy moving goalposts. I am not going to stay somewhere that treats my presence as a problem after I have already done the work to adapt.
I have seen enough creators disappear to understand the pattern.
If that happens, I will pack up and leave.
No long war.
No martyr act.
No endless public fight.
No dramatic countdown.
I will simply follow my friends, my favorite creators, and my community elsewhere.
That is not a threat. It is not blackmail. It is just the natural consequence of making creators feel like guests who can be kicked out of their own workshop at any moment.
For now, I will keep building.
I will keep updating bots.
I will keep improving scripts.
I will keep cleaning avatars.
I will keep adjusting tags.
I will keep trying to make my work playable, polished, and compliant without ripping out everything that made it worth using.
But I am not blind, and I am not pretending to be happy about the direction things are taking.
Stay connected
If you want to stay informed, follow updates, know where my bots may go in the future, or simply stay connected if JanitorAI becomes too unstable for creators like me, join my Discord:
Thank you to everyone who still supports my work, reads my bots, uses my scripts, reports issues, gives feedback, and sticks around even when the platform makes everything more complicated than it needs to be.
I am still here.
But this is me saying, very clearly, that my patience is not infinite.
When creators start feeling like the next ban is only a matter of time, something is already broken.
